summary: Snowgooning on wooden sticks while sliding sideways lives on.. 

So, we had fun.. it was neato.. like pretty durn cool.. powder, sunshine, and lots of snowboard lines.. mixed in with some fun sledding as well.. a perfect day..
the Media frenzy went down.. lots of pics, and i think for once this season we actually filmed every run.. i need myself a new vid camera! thanks Tom for providing the equipment...

Thanks Tom and Jessie for taking most of the pics as well.. my camera had issues today.

We begin our journey here.. as the saying goes.. 'better late than never'

swappy showed up

he was late, and before he showed up, the destruction was going down in full force.. what can u expect out here when planning on snomoboarding? untracked radness! all over the place.

I got stoked on snowboarding today. just takes a nudge sometimes, or being low on sled oil :)

ok, some double doos and beyond done been shredded, lets do some powder destruction, sled stylee.

powder explosions sled style r pretty f'n cool.. IMO

on we roll.. new zone, zone has not been shredded by this crew all season, but it wasn't a new zone, just an old favorite.. Slashers Delight, here we come..

we started a steady session, 3 peoples (no sign of swappy yet) meant 3 person taxi's back up. 2 man down, 1 man taxi.. we still rallied pretty hard. it was neato.

we worked Slashers Pretty good but still saved a few lines for later..

Mt Ronyeah was out in force.. the ronyeahs were also pouring like fountains of joy

OK.. lets kill some more powder! right behind slashers was a little mini bowl, a secret treasure of untouched powder goodness, what a surprise, treat and good find for another day.. destroy it!

so the next plan was to try out a new run, across the valley from sleashers.. after some stuckness, some trail finding, a little waste deep hiking thru the tress we found the zone. but it ended up beign a short run. a little more planning tho and next time i think we'll be able to milk this run into quite a long one. but we tried.. here's one snapshot that came from that run.
