summary: best powder day of the season.. snow shitting ya!

Man, i don't even know where to start here.. there was lots of powder, there was lots of sunshine and as always there was lots of fun!

Another Gold Creek session, but this midweek ride i had some hoooky players from work with me. Tom and Matt, 2 of my favorite riding buddies, and a butt load of fresh cold powder to sink our sled track and ski's into. so. thats just what we did.. deep powder carving and lots of air time.. just the way any perfect sledding day goes down, but then throw in some sunshine as the cherry on top.. can u dig it? I CAN!!!

so, i guess as always we'll just start rolling out the picture frenzy and let that tell the story as we roll.. there is a butt load of pictures.

morning time.. deep powder.. time for foto frenzy on this one hill here whilst we slash up the deep stuff.
Tommy, claiming 1st tracks.. and on and on and on

my turn!!

Matt was a good guy and was helping a fella get his broke down sled out of baker lake, but he returned for some action!

looky, noon time and still only a couple tracks on this hill

lots of air time going down today

wouldn't be a proper powder day with out some stucks

super hero dad...

end of the day breaktime

more powder

now.. if you have gotten this far.. i got a little story...

i almost lost my shit today (shit aka: SLED)... rolled my sled, oil started spewing everywhere, turns out i  retarded out and didn't cap my oil tank.. so's i look, we look. i look, we look some more and then found the cap tucked up into all the powder under my hood somewhere..
Mr Tom the rad dude he is, hauled ass back to my jeep grabbed my jug of oil and brought it back out to our location.. i filled'r, capped it, started'r up and we rallied on!
thanks Tom!!

this was the explosion when i lost my shit down the hill... layed into deep carve, got bucked, almost over the bars, and then rolled with my sled as it tumbled down the hill..  both of us going inverticalnous.. land on feet step back on ride away..

end of day, back at the rigs.. no carnage, all beat down from riding powder all day.. success!!

pretty sure this was the best powder day of the season.. glad i didn't miss it!!

thanks friends for coming out with me on the powder destruction mission
