summary: adventure
sledding at its best!
the day starts out like any other riding day.. the shitty sound of an
alarm clock, or in my case the alarm sound on my cell phone. crawl out
of bed, put some cloths on, grab my bag, walk out the door, jump in the
already loaded jeep with trailer attached and sled loaded and hit the
road... hmmmm, ok this is already starting to be boring and tell ya
what, it was not a boring day at all..
we'll start this over and fast fwd a bit..
here we r, geared up out at Salmon La Sac and ready to roll, so well,
we roll.. on and on we roll out to the Lake Ann area.. sunshine is on
our backs and the sweet sweet smell of 2stroke oil is in the air...
shit!! this is getting lame again.. sorry..
i'm going to move on to the pictures and let those tell a story of good
time with good friends, good adventure sledding, good snow, and best of
all. NO CARNAGE.. i prefer carn ah sada over carnage..
so, i'll share some of each persons pics and words as we roll here..

Ended up going to Lake Ann area with tomMTX, lushbomb and their crew.
Papa Bear and I were going to go to Gold Creek, but since he hasn't
been to that area, we decided to hit Lake Ann.
It is a cool area. The trail up sure is a good warm up.... lol.
We played around in the Van Epps area

---- in the wise words of Sir Tommy
even though this shit may not come across as scary in this pic it
was pretty gnarly.

It was 10x scarier than any shit I've done on my snowboard in the past
few years. Snowboarding is for girls. Sledding takes nuts of steel. I'm
scared for my life most days like Saturday and it's fucking awesome. I
just don't get that rush from snowboarding anymore.
Now, here's a few more of mine to go with this non-report:
Adventuring!
First 30 minutes we got into Van Epps. I couldn't stop to take
pics of it untracked as the fever was on. This is untracked as I got. A
bunch of thems my tracks! w00t!
Probably the highest hi-mark I've ever done. Guess which one? Ha ha

these pictures.. but hey, its fun!!
all in all there is really one word that can describe this day we had
of adventure sledding. and that word is:
"AWESOME!!!"
