so, we rallied out for a sunny day chill session on Saturday mostly to test out our new proto-type pirate kite kite boarding mechanism, 1st flights were not as successful as we hoped but it gave us good data to go back to the lab and work on our designs.. also, our picture timing was not as great as the actually flight times that really went down.. i think we got video tho somewhere too..

off we go for the 1st flight.. aaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr he says!!! its working, its working, its working.. then somewhere, it took a dive and began a path of destruction..

this is where things went terribly wrong.. carnage happened on a minor scale

 

 

man down man down!!! but ok enough to collect the data we needed for our next flights...

 

 

 

so data collected, couple more decent flights went down actually but with no picture proof.. yeah yeah.. didn't happen..

 

now we begin some chill out, some sled rally, some gun shooting etc.. kinda the normal chill out session.. not sure i got all the pics from swappy.. maybe he'll add the bonus pics later..

it was a good mission. i picked up some more kite materials so we can work out the kinks next time.. some serious kiteboarding missions are gonna go down.. trust it!
